ATESS Launches MatrixOne All-in-One BESS Series for Smarter C&I Energy Management

ATESS Power Technology Co., Ltd. has launched MatrixOne, a new all-in-one battery energy storage system (BESS) series designed to help commercial and industrial (C&I) users manage electricity more efficiently, integrate renewable energy and strengthen power resilience.

The new series includes two models for outdoor installation: the MatrixOne IC261-400S, an 125 kW/261 kWh BESS cabinet, and the higher-capacity MatrixOne IC418-690/IC418-800, offering 215 kW output and 418 kWh of battery storage. With different configurations, the series can address a range of C&I energy requirements and project sizes.

Designed for Diverse C&I Applications

MatrixOne is designed for deployment across factories, industrial parks, offices, shopping malls and other commercial and industrial facilities. Its range of operating modes enables businesses to use battery storage for peak shaving, load shifting, solar self-consumption and backup power.

For facilities facing high electricity demand during peak tariff periods, the system can store energy when electricity costs are lower and discharge it when demand and tariffs rise. This can help businesses better manage energy expenses while reducing pressure on the grid during periods of high demand.

For sites with distributed solar PV, MatrixOne can work with ATESS SMC to make PV access easier. PV cables can be combined to SMCs near the solar arrays and then connect to MatrixOne. This can reduce cabling and transfer losses, and the SMC costs much less than traditional solutions using hybrid inverters.

All-in-One Design for Easier Deployment

A major advantage of MatrixOne is its integrated cabinet architecture. The system brings together key battery storage and power management components within one outdoor solution, reducing the need for multiple separately installed systems.

The compact approach helps simplify project design, installation and cabling while reducing the space required for energy storage. This can be particularly valuable for existing factories, commercial buildings and industrial facilities where available installation space may be limited.

The cabinets also feature IP55 enclosure and IP66 battery compartment protection, supporting reliable outdoor deployment across different operating environments.

Supporting Business Continuity

Beyond energy-cost optimization, MatrixOne is designed to strengthen power resilience for businesses where interruptions can affect operations, productivity or critical equipment.

The IC261-400S features an integrated static transfer switch (STS) that enables on-grid/off-grid switching within 10 milliseconds during a grid outage. This allows the battery system to provide rapid backup support while also being used for everyday energy management.

For applications requiring greater energy independence, the IC418-690/IC418-800 offers grid-forming and black-start capabilities, extending the system’s potential for facilities that prioritize operational continuity and resilient power supply.

Smarter Use of Stored Energy

MatrixOne also incorporates intelligent energy management capabilities to help businesses make better use of stored electricity. Its AI-driven revenue optimization based on dynamic electricity prices can support charging and discharging decisions according to changing tariffs, helping users maximize the economic value of the battery system.

Liquid cooling supports consistent battery operation and long-term performance, while integrated safety features provide multiple layers of protection for commercial and industrial deployment.

The systems can also be expanded as energy requirements grow, giving businesses greater flexibility to scale storage capacity according to changing loads, renewable energy installations or operational needs.

With MatrixOne, ATESS is positioning energy storage as more than a backup resource. By combining energy-cost optimization, renewable energy utilization, power resilience, intelligent management and scalable deployment in an all-in-one platform, the new series is designed to help C&I users gain greater control over how they generate, store and consume electricity.
