iON+, a data and asset performance management solution developed by independent power producer Conrad Energy, has partnered with battery analytics provider ACCURE Battery Intelligence to streamline data management from battery energy storage system (BESS) assets.
Under the partnership, iON+ will provide data services and support to ACCURE customers through a data bridge designed to extract, record and transfer high-frequency data from BESS systems to the ACCURE analytics platform in near real time.
The integration will enable BESS owners and operators to access more comprehensive asset data and gain additional insights into battery performance. The data bridge can also return corrected values, including State of Energy (SoE), which can be used to support dispatch and trading decisions.
Improving BESS Trading and Revenue
According to the companies, accurate SoE data can help BESS owners identify available energy that may otherwise remain unsold while reducing the risk of mis-delivery penalties caused by overstating available energy.
The partnership is expected to reduce the time and complexity involved in integrating data across BESS portfolios. iON+ will aggregate high-frequency data from customers’ assets and transfer it to ACCURE’s analytics platform, providing a consolidated view of battery performance.
The companies said the benefits of correcting SoE have already been demonstrated at Gore Street Capital’s 75 MW Dogfish battery storage project in Texas. Based on operational data, ACCURE projected an annual benefit of more than $110,000, representing approximately a 5% uplift against average BESS trading revenues in the ERCOT market. Corrected SoE values were implemented at the site in July 2026 without requiring additional hardware.
Supporting Battery Availability and Performance
ACCURE’s battery analytics platform provides continuous monitoring of BESS assets down to the cell level, helping owners and operators identify issues such as battery imbalance at an early stage.
The companies said early detection and resolution of performance issues can help maintain battery availability, reduce maintenance costs and extend asset operating life. ACCURE’s continuous monitoring capabilities are also recognised by insurers, including Aviva and HDI, as part of their underwriting processes.
Commenting on the partnership, Rhys Kirk, Chief Technology Officer at iON+, said the companies had already been working together and that the partnership would help deliver data and analytics services to customers.
Yannick Gindroz, Head of Partnerships at ACCURE, said iON+’s experience in extracting and transferring high-granularity data made it a suitable partner for improving customer access to BESS asset data.
The partnership strengthens the integration between BESS data management and battery analytics, enabling owners and operators to use real-time and corrected operational data to improve asset performance and maximise trading opportunities.
