Solidus Techno Power Private Limited has commissioned its seventh open access solar project for Kular Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. at Balliewal in Ludhiana, Punjab. The project has a capacity of 4 MW AC and 5.6 MWp DC and is expected to generate approximately 8.7 million units of clean electricity annually.
The project is estimated to reduce around 6,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year, supporting the growing adoption of open access renewable energy in Punjab.
With the commissioning of the project, Solidus Techno Power’s cumulative solar PV projects commissioned have crossed 500 MW. The company has also reached seven commissioned open access solar projects, alongside a 25 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio and a 120 MW independent power producer (IPP) portfolio.
The milestones highlight Solidus Techno Power’s expansion beyond its solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) operations into an integrated renewable energy platform covering EPC, open access, IPP and battery energy storage solutions.
The latest project further strengthens the company’s presence in India’s renewable energy sector as demand for large-scale solar power and clean energy solutions continues to grow.
