The new project will be developed under the Distributed Renewable Energy-Based Power (DREBP) Feeder-Level Solarisation (FLS) Scheme, which aims to accelerate solarisation of agricultural and regional power feeders. The renewable electricity generated from the project will be supplied to Gujarat distribution companies (DISCOMs) under long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) at a fixed tariff of ₹2.76 per kWh.

With the latest order, Powertrac’s cumulative solar project capacity for Dhanraj Sugar will increase to 48 MW, comprising the previously commissioned 8 MW project and the newly awarded 40 MW project.

The repeat order strengthens Powertrac’s presence in Gujarat’s distributed renewable energy market and reflects the company’s continued focus on feeder-level solarisation and renewable energy infrastructure.

The project is expected to contribute to the expansion of distributed solar generation in Gujarat while supporting the state’s efforts to increase renewable energy adoption across agricultural and regional feeders.
