Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from one of India’s thermal power generating companies for a commercial Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) project.
Under the order, WRTL will undertake EPC works for a 291 MWp ground-mounted solar PV project integrated with a 280 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The project is a domestic commercial order and is scheduled for completion during FY 2027–28.
The company said that neither its promoters, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. Accordingly, the order does not fall under related party transactions. The LOA was received on August 28, 2026, and the company disclosed the development to the stock exchanges on the same day.
Waaree Renewable Technologies is listed on the BSE under scrip code 534618 and on the NSE under the symbol WAAREERTL.
