FTC Solar, Inc., a provider of solar tracker systems, software, and engineering services, has received notice to begin production for the Sybella Creek Solar Farm in Queensland, Australia. First deliveries for the project are expected to commence from the end of 2026 and continue into early 2027.
The Sybella Creek project is an 82 MW hybrid solar and battery storage development located in Mount Isa, Queensland. The project is being constructed using FTC Solar’s Voyager 2P tracker technology and is expected to support energy security and electricity supply in the Mount Isa region.
FTC Solar said tracker production for the project is already underway, with deliveries scheduled to begin toward the end of 2026. The aggregate value of the project was included in the company’s backlog disclosed on August 5, 2026.
“We’re pleased to continue supporting our customers with this follow-on project and to build on the strong momentum we’ve established in Australia,” said Anthony Carroll, CEO of FTC Solar. “Our focus has always been on delivering solutions that help our customers improve project efficiency, simplify installation and reduce costs.”
The company added that it will continue providing products, services, and technical support for the project while strengthening its presence in the Australian solar market.
The Sybella Creek development combines solar generation with battery storage and is expected to contribute to improved energy reliability in the Mount Isa area. FTC Solar’s Voyager 2P tracker technology will be deployed as part of the project’s solar infrastructure.
