The Nordex Group has secured a 91 MW wind turbine order from TEUT Energieprojekte GmbH for the Schönermark-Passow wind farm in Brandenburg, Germany. The contract also includes a 20-year Premium Service agreement covering the turbines.
The Schönermark-Passow wind farm will be developed near Schwedt/Oder in the Uckermark district and will comprise 13 Nordex N163/6.X wind turbines. Each turbine will feature a hub height of 164 metres.
Construction activities, along with turbine delivery and installation, are scheduled to begin in September 2027. Commissioning of the first turbine is planned for January 2028. The project is being developed by TEUT Energieprojekte in cooperation with Austrian utility Salzburg AG.
The latest order further expands the long-standing relationship between Nordex and TEUT Energieprojekte in Brandenburg. In 2025, TEUT ordered 11 Nordex turbines with a combined capacity of 65.7 MW for the Mürow-Neukünkendorf and Willmersdorf-Tempelfelde wind farms. Those projects are scheduled to enter operation in spring and summer 2027, respectively.
According to Jan Teut, Managing Director of TEUT Energieprojekte GmbH, Schönermark-Passow represents the company’s tenth project with Nordex. Across their cooperation, TEUT has purchased 39 Nordex turbines representing 252 MW of installed capacity.
Teut said the company’s experience with Nordex during contract negotiations, construction and turbine operations has reinforced its confidence in continuing to develop future projects using Nordex technology.
Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Europe at the Nordex Group, said the Schönermark-Passow project would further support the expansion of wind energy in Brandenburg. He also highlighted TEUT’s continued confidence in Nordex’s N163/6.X turbine platform and long-term service capabilities.
The 91 MW project adds to the pipeline of new wind capacity planned for Brandenburg as developers and utilities continue expanding renewable power generation across Germany.
