The work involves providing File Transfer Protocol (FTP) communication capabilities on an existing workstation at the solar power plant. The facility will enable real-time Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) data transfer to the Qualified Coordinating Agency (QCA) associated with the solar project.

According to the tender document, identified by reference number C&M Group-3/O&M/CS-888, the procurement will follow a Single Stage Single Envelope bidding process. The contract will be awarded to a single agency, with the project being evaluated on a lump-sum basis. NTPC has stated that splitting the scope among multiple agencies is not feasible.

The contract period will be six months from the official commencement date specified by the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). Bidders are required to submit firm price quotations in Indian rupees. The quoted prices must account for applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and follow the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) format available through NTPC’s e-Procurement portal.

The tender also provides for applicable benefits and purchase preferences for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in accordance with prevailing government procurement regulations. The tender notice states that specific minimum qualifying requirements for bidders are not applicable for this procurement.

The tender provides an opportunity for specialized technical service providers to participate in the digitalization and communication infrastructure supporting NTPC’s solar generation assets. Detailed technical requirements, tender schedules, commercial conditions and submission procedures are available in the tender documents issued through the NTPC e-Procurement platform.
