Juniper Green Energy Limited has fully commissioned its 75 MW Tata Hybrid Project in Maharashtra with the commissioning of its 36.25 MWp DC solar capacity at Bhigwan in Pune district. The completion brings the entire hybrid project, comprising 36.25 MWp of solar and 50 MW of wind capacity, into commercial operation.
The project has been developed through Juniper Green Beam Eight Private Limited, a subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy, under a 75 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power. The solar component is connected to the Bhigwan Substation in Pune district, while the wind component is connected to the Nilanga Substation in Latur district.
The 50 MW wind component was commissioned in phases during July and August 2026. With the commissioning of the solar capacity, the project is now fully operational across both renewable energy sources.
The project marks the addition of Tata Power to Juniper Green Energy’s growing customer base, which includes discoms, utilities, and other power offtakers.

He added that the completion of the project demonstrates the company’s ability to execute integrated solar and wind projects across multiple locations, with a focus on timely delivery. The company remains focused on expanding its operational portfolio and developing a diversified renewable energy platform to support India’s growing demand for clean and reliable power.
Following the commissioning of the Bhigwan solar capacity, Juniper Green Energy’s aggregate operational renewable energy portfolio has reached approximately 2,725 MWp, along with 503 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity.
The addition further expands the company’s operational portfolio across solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects in India.
