NLC India Limited has announced that Dr. Prasanna Kumar Acharya, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the company, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director (Finance).
The Ministry of Coal, NLC India’s administrative ministry, issued the order on September 22, 2026, assigning the additional responsibility to Dr. Acharya for an initial period of three months with effect from September 17, 2026.
The additional charge will remain with Dr. Acharya until the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
NLC India disclosed the development to the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The disclosure follows the company’s earlier intimation dated September 17, 2026, concerning the assignment of the additional charge.
Dr. Acharya will continue to serve as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NLC India while holding the additional responsibility of Director (Finance) during the specified period.
