The Nordex Group has secured a 42 MW wind turbine order from Navaris for the Lambacher Höh wind farm project in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
Under the order, Nordex will supply and install six wind turbines, comprising four N163/6.X turbines and two N175/6.X turbines. The contract also includes a 20-year Premium Service agreement.
The wind farm is being developed southwest of Bitburg, near the Luxembourg border. The turbines will be installed on hybrid towers, with the four N163/6.X turbines featuring a 164-metre hub height, while the two N175/6.X turbines will have a 179-metre hub height.
Installation of the first turbine is scheduled to begin in January 2028, with full commissioning of the wind farm planned for July 2028.
Fourth Nordex-Naravis Collaboration
The Lambacher Höh project marks the fourth collaboration between Nordex and Navaris in Germany.
Navaris is the German renewable energy platform of Qualitas Energy and has operated under the Navaris name since September 17, 2026. Qualitas Energy is an international investment and asset management group focused on renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure.
In March 2026, Nordex received a 56 MW order from the Qualitas Energy Group for a wind project in Hesse.
Johannes Overbeck, CEO of Navaris, said the Lambacher Höh project will contribute to expanding regional renewable energy generation in Germany and highlighted the companies’ continued cooperation.
Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President, Region Europe, Nordex Group, said the order reflects the customer’s continued confidence in Nordex’s turbine technology and long-term service capabilities.
The Lambacher Höh project will add new wind generation capacity in Germany and contribute to the country’s renewable energy expansion and decarbonisation efforts.
