Vikram Solar has secured a 400 MW solar module supply order from an EPC player for a portfolio of decentralised solar projects being developed across multiple locations in Maharashtra.
The order strengthens Vikram Solar’s presence in the agricultural feeder solarisation segment, which is emerging as an important part of India’s decentralised renewable energy infrastructure.
Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its 620 Wp N-Type TOPCon G12R modules featuring glass-to-glass, bifacial technology and half-cut cells. Module supplies are scheduled to commence in October 2026.
The projects are part of Maharashtra’s expanding agricultural feeder solarisation programme, supporting the deployment of renewable power closer to consumption centres while contributing to grid resilience and energy access for agricultural communities.
Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, said programmes such as MSKVY 2.0 are bringing solar power closer to farmers and agricultural communities. He added that the order reflects confidence in the company’s G12R TOPCon technology and its ability to support large, geographically distributed solar projects.
Vikram Solar said the order highlights its growing capability to serve large-scale solar programmes across multiple locations, supported by its expanding manufacturing capacity and advanced module technology portfolio.
