The Nordex Group has secured new wind turbine orders totalling 175 MW across France, Portugal and Spain, expanding its project portfolio across three key European wind energy markets.
The contracts cover the supply and installation of 34 wind turbines and include comprehensive multi-year service agreements aimed at ensuring high technical availability and supporting long-term energy production. The names of the customers and individual wind farms have not been disclosed.
The orders comprise eight N175/6.X turbines, four N163/6.X turbines, four N149/4.X turbines, nine N133/4.8 turbines and nine N131/3.6 turbines.
According to the company, the range of turbine configurations reflects the varying wind conditions and permitting requirements across the three countries.
Installation and commissioning of all projects are scheduled to take place between 2027 and 2028.
The latest orders further expand Nordex Group’s wind energy activities across Europe while supporting the deployment of additional renewable power capacity in France, Portugal and Spain.
