Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) has invited global online bids to select a developer for setting up the 900 MW/5,400 MWh Rampura Pumped Storage Project (PSP) in Tonk, Rajasthan. The project will be developed on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis through Global Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB), followed by an e-Reverse Auction.

The tender has been issued under reference number RRECL/TN-11(2026-27) and Bid No. RREC/Online/2026/Rampura-900 MW PSP/TBCB/Tender-00055. The project is planned as a large-scale energy storage facility aimed at supporting the integration and management of renewable power in the state.

Under the tender requirements, interested bidders are required to pay a bid document cost of ₹59,000, inclusive of GST. An online bid processing fee of ₹23.60 lakh, inclusive of GST, is also applicable. The required Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Bid Security has been fixed at ₹108 crore.

The bid security can be submitted through a Demand Draft, Banker’s Cheque, Bank Guarantee, or Insurance Surety Bond in the prescribed format. The tender notice does not separately specify a Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) amount.

The tender schedule sets September 30, 2026, at 4:00 PM as the start date and time for downloading the bid documents. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

Online submission of bids will begin on November 30, 2026, at 4:00 PM, with the same time specified as the deadline for online bid submission. Physical submission of the required fees and bid security must be completed by November 30, 2026, up to 6:00 PM. The technical bids are scheduled to be opened on December 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

Eligible bidders can obtain the Request for Selection (RfS) documents through Rajasthan government procurement portals, including eproc.rajasthan.gov.in and sppp.rajasthan.gov.in, as well as the official RRECL website. Bidders are required to complete the necessary enrollment on the e-procurement portal before uploading their bids electronically.
