Bondada Engineering Limited has received an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order worth ₹1,153.93 crore, including taxes, for the development of a 270 MWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project at various locations in Maharashtra.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the order has been awarded by a domestic entity engaged in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects. Bondada Engineering will be responsible for the EPC execution of the 270 MWp solar project.
The project is scheduled to be executed within six months from the date of receipt of the order.
The total consideration for the contract is ₹1,153,92,99,970, inclusive of applicable taxes.
Bondada Engineering said the order will add to its renewable energy project pipeline and strengthen its presence in large-scale solar EPC execution. The company is also focusing on opportunities across solar EPC, renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and other emerging infrastructure segments.
The company disclosed that the promoter, promoter group or group companies have an interest in the entity awarding the order. Accordingly, the transaction falls under related-party transactions, as stated in the regulatory filing.
The order marks another addition to Bondada Engineering’s solar EPC portfolio as the company expands its project execution activities in the renewable energy sector.
