NTPC Floats O&M Tender for 650Kwp Rooftop Solar at NTPC Sipat Plant

The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) floats tender for design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning and O&M for 3 years for 650Kwp Rooftop Solar at NTPC Sipat Plant Buildings &Urja  Bhavan (Administrative Building), at NTPC Sipat in Bilaspur District of Chhattisgarh. 


The scope of the work of the project includes Design, Engineering, Obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC) from distribution company DISCOM for Grid connectivity (if required), manufacture, supply, construction, erection, associated civil works including fixing on rooftops, Testing & Commissioning works, PG test, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for 3 years for Solar Rooftop System at plant & administrative buildings of NTPC Sipat. The commissioning of the project means  connecting and synchronizing the complete 650 Kwp system to 415V LT grid, as detailed in the technical specification.


The last date for receipt of clarification queries from bidders is February 19, 2020 and the last date for bid submission is February 26, 2020. The technical bid opens on February 28, 2020 at 15:00 hrs. Interested bidders are required to pay EMD of Rs 5 lakh. commissioned/supervised commissioning of SPV based grid connected power plant of at least one plant of 100 KWp or above and cumulative capacity of 500 KWp or above. 

The reference plant of 100 KWp or above capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six months as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening. Additionally, the bidder must obtain a certificate from DISCOM/ Power Procurement Agency for commissioning date. The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening, shall not be less than Rs 28,10,0000 Lakhs.

In case the bidder is unable to provide audited financial statements, the copies of the unaudited unconsolidated financial statements of the bidder along with copies of the audited consolidated financial statements of the holding company should be provided. Further, a certificate would be required from the  CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that the financial results of the company are under audit as on the date of Techno-Commercial Bid Opening.
