Mizoram Issues NIT for 10 MW Solar PV Projects

The Power and Electricity Department, Government of Mizoram has floated a tender for procurement of Power from Grid-connected Solar PV Power Projects through Tariff based competitive Bidding Process for total 10 MW based on International Competitive Bidding Process in accordance with Ministry of Power “Tariff based bidding Guidelines for solar PV Power Projects”.

The last date for the submission of online bids is 28.05.2020 up to 04:00 PM. The Technical Bid Opening Date is 29.05.2020 at 12:30 PM and the Opening date of the financial bid is 04.06.2020 at 1:00 PM (tentative). Reverse Auction date Will be informed to eligible bidders.

Along with the bids, the bidder should submit a document fee of Rs. 5000/- including GST. The bidders will have to also submit earnest money deposit (EMD) of 

Rs 400,000 per MW per Project in the form of Bank Guarantee.

The Document states that the capacity of each Solar Power Project shall be a minimum of 5 MW. Any Bidder can apply for a minimum of 5 MW per location and the maximum capacity for the project shall be 10 MW. The capacity of Solar PV Power Plant applied shall be in multiples of 5 MW.

To be eligible for this bid, the bidder should have Net worth equal to or greater than the value calculated at the rate of Rs. 1.07 crore per MW of capacity offered by the Bidder in its Bid or equivalent USD in the last three financial years.

The Bidder should be a Company (Bidding Company) or a Consortium of Companies (Bidding Consortium) with one of the Company acting as the Lead Member of the Bidding Consortium. 

Recently, The Power and Electricity Department, Government of Mizoram,has issued Request for Selection (RfS) Document for Empanelment of Developers for 500 kWp Grid connected Rooftop SPV Power Plants in different locations for Residential Sector in the state of Mizoram.

The scope of work includes Design, Manufacture, Testing, Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Grid-connected Rooftop SPV Power Plants Including five years Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC).

The last date for the submission of online bids is 21.05.2020 up to 4:00 PM and the Technical Bid Opening Date is 22.05.2020 at 11:00 AM. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled on 15.05.2020 at 11.30 A.M. The Estimated cost of the project is Rs. 2.95 crores and Period of empanelment is 12 Months.
