MEDA Floats Tender For Net Metering Of 40KW Solar Rooftop

Divisional office of Nagpur on behalf of Maharashtra energy development agency (meda) invites eligible bidders for net metering of 40 kW capacity grid-connected solar PV power plant under the rooftop.


The location of the project is at 2 various places under the social welfare department Chandrapur.

The last date and time of submission of bids is 22/06/2020 up to 17.00 hrs. The opening date & time of the technical bid is 23/06/2020 up to 18.00 hrs. A pre-bid meeting for this tender has been scheduled on 19/06/2020 at 1:00 hrs.

Along with the bids, the bidders are required to submit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.Rs.19,800/- and Tender Document fee of Rs.3,000/-.The bidders are also requested to submit a 3%* of contract value by Demand Draft (DD) as Security Deposit. The Estimated Cost of tender is Rs.19,80,000/-.

The document stated that bidders shall submit the bids in two parts: First part comprises the technical bid and the second part comprise of the financial bid.

Recently, Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) Jaipur has issued This is a Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for Supply of BOS (Except SPV modules and inverters), Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning including Warranty and Operation & Maintenance for a period of 5 years of 120 kWp Grid Connected Solar PV Plant at Steel Authority of India (SAIL)Ware-House in Bangalore , Karnataka and 110kWp Grid Connected Solar PV Plant at SAIL Ware-House in Chennai, Tamilnadu.

The Scope of work for the bidder include feasibility of installation in identified buildings, Obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Distribution Company (DISCOM) for grid connectivity, Survey, complete design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing & commissioning of the grid connected rooftop solar PV project including Operation and Maintenance (O & M) of the project for a period of 5 years after commissioning of the projects as per REIL‘s acceptance.

Maharashtra Energy Development Agency is a Maharashtra government institute run with the Federal Government of India, to regulate energy conservation and to promote the development of renewable energy in Maharashtra State, including solar energy, bio-energy, and wind energy. MEDA is working as a State Nodal Agency (SNA) under the aegis of the Energy Department, the State of Maharashtra. MEDA is also working as a State Designated Agency (SDA) for the implementation of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).MEDA is also working as the State Designated Agency for energy conservation/energy efficiency activities in the State.
