The Ministry of Power issued an order for the waiver of inter-state transmission charges and losses on transmission of electricity generated from solar, wind and solar-wind hybrid sources energy. It has been brought to the notice of the Central Government that there may be renewable power projects which are eligible for waiver of inter-state transmission charges and losses and having their scheduled commissioning date on or before the June 30, 2023. These projects have been granted extension by relevant implementing authorities due to transmission and government delays or force majeure on account of Covid-19.
