Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) has invited logn term bids for procurement of 500 MW of Solar Power (Phase VI) through tariff based bidding process on e-Bidding portal as per the guidelines issued by Govt of India to mitigate renewable purchase obligation (RPO).

Earnest Money @ INR 4 Lakhs / MW is to be submitted in the form of Bank Guarantee along with response to RfS

RfS Document For Purchase Of Power On Long Term Basis Through Competitive Bidding Process (Followed By Reverse E-Auction) From 500 MW Grid Connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Projects.

The bidders selected by MSEDCL based on this RfS, shall be existing solar power project or shall set up Solar Power Projects in accordance with the provisions of this RfS document and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). PPA format has been enclosed and can be downloaded from htttps://www.bharat-electronictender.com.

The bidders will be free to avail fiscal incentives like Accelerated Depreciation, Concessional Customs and Excise Duties, Tax Holidays, benefits from trading of carbon credits, etc. as available for such projects. The same will not have any bearing on comparison of bids for selection. As equal opportunity is being provided to all bidders at the time of tendering itself, it is up to the bidders to avail various tax and other benefits.
