Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has invited bids to procure 1,250 MW of solar power from projects developed in various districts of Maharashtra through competitive bidding process (followed by E-reverse Acution). The bids are under the state’s own Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana.
The Last date & Time for Online Submission of Response to RfS is 25.11.2021 Time 16:00 Hrs. The Ceiling Tariff is fixed at Rs. 3.10 per unit. The non refundable processing Fee is Rs. 10,000 per MW + 18% GST to be paid through online payment.
Rs. 1 Lakh / MW is to be submitted in the form of Bank Guarantee as a earnest money deposit (EMD). Performance bank guarantee for successful bidders is Rs 500,000 /MW of the quoted capacity, to be submitted within 30 days of award.
The minimum individual capacity to be developed is 2 MW and the maximum 10 MW. The project has to be commissioned within 12 months from the date of the issuance of the letter of award.
MSEDCL will enter into a 25 year PPA with the developers, existing projects without a PPA are also eligible to participate.
The bidder should have minimum annual turnover of Rs. 25 lakhs/MW of the quoted capacity during the previous financial year 2019-2020.
The bidder should have in-principle approval from the lending institution committing a line of credit for a minimum of ₹1.25 million (~$16,680)/MW of the quoted capacity for meeting the work capital requirement of the project. In-principle sanction letter from the lending institutions/banks of the Bidder, committing a Line of Credit for a minimum amount of Rs. 12.5 Lakhs/MW of the quoted capacity, towards meeting the working capital requirement of the project quoted under this RfS. Such letter can also be obtained by the Affiliate(s) of the Bidder, as per the tender document.
Last month MSEDCL had Issued Empanelment Tender For 200 MW of Grid-connected Residential Rooftop Projects under the capital expenditure (CAPEX) model.
