The pre-bid meeting is going to commence on January 25, and the last date to submit the bid is February 1, 2022.

This EPC tender was published in response to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s (GUVNL) request for proposals to acquire power from 500 MW grid-connected solar projects.

After receiving the letter of award and before signing the power purchase agreement, prospective bidders must pay Rs 400,000/MW as an earnest money deposit and Rs 944,000 as a performance bank guarantee in order to participate in the bidding (PPA).

The bidder’s, its affiliates, or parent bidding company’s net worth shall be at least Rs 8 million/MW of the specified bid value.

According to the procurement document, the projects should use only commercially accepted and operating technology in order to lower technical risk and ensure fast project commissioning.

GUVNL renewed solar bids in March 2021 to acquire 800 MW of solar electricity from grid-connected solar power undertakings in the Raghanesda and Dholera Solar Parks.

The first tender was for 700 MW solar projects to be built in Dholera’s 1 GW solar park. The second tender was for the development of 100 MW of solar projects in the Raghanesda Solar Park.
