BCPL Tenders for 2 MW Rooftop Solar In West Bengal

Bengal Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals (BCPL) has rolled out an expression of interest (EOI) to have vendors’ empanelment for grid-connected rooftop solar system installation with the total power of 2 MW on a BOOT (build, own, operate, transfer) basis at Manicktala and Panihati factories.

April 13, 2022, is the last day to submit bids. The declaration of the result will be done on the same day.

Bidders should have a comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) strategy for the next 15 years. The range of work involves a site survey, engineering, planning, manufacture, design, storage, supply, testing, civil work, erection, and proper commissioning of the entire project.

The span of work includes the effective implementation of a 1MW grid-connected rooftop solar system for the company, keeping in mind a net metering facility in accordance with government laws.

Participants must showcase a turnover of Rs 10 million in the last three financial years. Bidders can either submit a certified turnover certificate issued by a chartered accountant for the last three financial years or provide their financial reports.

Interested bidders must have been in business for at least three years and must have successfully finished at least three projects of similar nature.

The empanelment shall be effective up to 5 years from the date of signing the agreement, with the option to renew on mutually agreed terms.

The project must begin within one week of the bidder receiving the Letter of Acceptance. Within weeks of receiving the letter of acceptance, the successful bidder will get responsible for ensuring all resources, decision-making, and information under its control that is required to produce a jointly agreed-upon and finished plan.

The bidder will be responsible for getting necessary approvals, permits, and licenses from all national, local, or state government bodies or public service authorities. It will facilitate the timely performance of the contract.
