Bharat Heavy Electrics Limited (BHEL) has invited traders to bid for renewable power certificates (RECs), from the Nationwide Load Despatch Center (NLDC), and trade them on the energy markets for Ranipet’s 5 MW photovoltaic Project.
10th June is the final date to submit the bids and bids will be opened on the next day.
Tender does not require any EMD and the validity of the said contract is 1 year.
Scope of the work includes the responsibility of renewing BHEL’s registration in both the exchange – Indian Energy Exchange (IEX), and the Power Exchange India (PXIL). The validity of the registration will be till 30th June 2022.
To acquire a utility to issue RECs on a monthly basis, the contractor should work with the Tamil Nadu Era and Distribution Company(TANGEDCO) or the State Load Despatch Middle.
BHEL Ranipet will provide authorization letters and clarifications regarding energy technology particulars.
BHEL Ranipet could even apply to the NLDC for the issuance RECs. Within 15 days of the paperwork being submitted, the contractor should coordinate with NLDC to obtain RECs for BHEL.
Each month, the contractor must submit REC promote bids to BHEL and then redeem them to give BHEL the greatest advantage.
The corporation is not liable for any variations in the technology estimated at 12,000 RECs or the estimated buying and selling of 27,000 RECs over the one-year period.
After selling and buying at IEX, PXIL are completed, commerce reviews must be sent to BHEL within the next few days.
