Prof. Dr Weris Amrapal, Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand or I-EA-T signed a joint venture project with an energy engineering company under the name “Prime Industrial Energy Company Limited” or PIE, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, head office.
PIE has a goal to operate in the business of renewable energy (Renewable Energy) and energy conservation (Energy Efficiency), such as installing a solar power generation system for factories in industrial estates. Replacing and improving equipment or machinery in the factory to increase energy efficiency Including the installation of an Energy Management System (Energy Management System) in order to use energy efficiency leading to the Green Industrial Estate, where PIE will be a key driver in achieving the goals of IEAT.
The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Enterprise Plan (GHGs) aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions for industrial estates across the country by 2.5 million kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent (kgCO2e) within 5 years ( 2021 – B.E. 2025) or equivalent to planting forests of more than 400 rai per year. The factory is under the supervision of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand. There are currently more than 5,000 factories.
PRIME has been one of the leaders in the development of solar power plant projects in Thailand for more than 10 years, with a management team and staff with knowledge and competence in renewable energy, engineering, environment and domestic and international investments.
