As solar module manufacturing advances towards higher efficiency, diversified product formats and increasingly sophisticated module architectures, cell selection is becoming a critical factor in module design and production. At Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) 2026, YINGFA is showcasing how its N-Type TOPCon Multi-Cut and XBC solar cell technologies can support module manufacturers in addressing evolving performance, design and manufacturing requirements.
Beyond Efficiency: Enabling Flexible Module Design
While cell efficiency remains a key performance benchmark, module manufacturers must also consider cell format flexibility, electrical characteristics, manufacturing compatibility, production consistency and supply reliability. The ability to integrate advanced cells into different module architectures is increasingly important for developing competitive photovoltaic products.
YINGFA’s N-Type TOPCon 3.0 Multi-Cut Solar Cells, achieving a measured cell efficiency of 27.3% , are available in full-cell, half-cut, third-cut and quarter-cut configurations. These options enable manufacturers to explore different cell layouts, current characteristics and interconnection arrangements while adapting module designs to specific dimensions and power requirements.
The multi-cut approach offers greater design flexibility, allowing manufacturers to optimise module configurations according to their production capabilities and target applications. Consistent cell quality and compatibility with manufacturing processes are equally important for maintaining production efficiency, minimising integration challenges and supporting reliable module output.

XBC Technology: Expanding Module Design Possibilities
Complementing its TOPCon portfolio, YINGFA’s XBC 2.0 solar cells provide an alternative technology pathway for high-efficiency module development.
Featuring a back-contact architecture with no front metal gridlines, XBC cells combine cell efficiency of up to 28.4% with a uniform, pure-black appearance. This design supports differentiated module products where both performance and aesthetics are important considerations, particularly in premium residential and distributed-generation applications.
Together, TOPCon Multi-Cut and XBC technologies offer manufacturers distinct options for balancing electrical performance, module architecture and product positioning.

Manufacturing Capabilities and Localised Customer Support
Beyond cell performance, manufacturing consistency and technical support play an important role in successful module integration. YINGFA’s manufacturing operations in China and Indonesia support its international solar cell manufacturing and supply capabilities.
In India, the company’s dedicated sales, technical and customer service teams support module manufacturers through product selection, sample evaluation, technical coordination and after-sales communication. This combination of manufacturing capabilities and local engagement is particularly relevant as Indian module manufacturers continue to expand and upgrade their production capabilities.
Supporting the Next Generation of Solar Modules
As module manufacturers pursue higher performance, greater design flexibility and more efficient production, the role of solar cells is extending beyond efficiency alone. Through its TOPCon Multi-Cut and XBC technologies, supported by manufacturing in China and Indonesia and local customer support in India, YINGFA is positioning itself as a cell technology partner for next-generation module development.
Visitors can explore YINGFA’s solar cell technologies at REI 2026, October 22–24, India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Hall 14, Booth C33.
