Under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana, Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) has issued an invitation for bids to appoint consultants to install distributed solar power projects totaling 10 MW.
Within 15 days following the letter of award, the winning bidder must sign an empanelment agreement with the MAHAPREIT, which will be in effect for two years.
The deadline for submitting online bids is January 24, 2023, which is also the bid revealing date.
The earnest money deposit amount is Rs. 200,000 must be submitted by bidders. The winning bidder will be additionally required to provide a performance bank guarantee equal to 5% of the contract amount.
According to MAHAPREIT, the consultant shall be required to pay liquidated damages at a rate of 0.5% per week of delay, up to a maximum of 10% of the contract value, for any delay due to the consultant over the scheduled date of completion of certain activities as per the agreed schedule.
Further, bidders shall be held accountable for any mistakes and omissions resulting from carelessness on their part up to 10% of the contract value.
To be eligible for tender, bidders should have done at least 3 assignments in the past 5 fiscal years as a professional consulting services provider for distributed solar projects of up to 10 MW capacity, for any central or state government department or private organizations.
The average yearly turnover of the participant in any 3 of the previous 5 fiscal years must be at least Rs. 1 million, and during this period, their net worth should also be positive.
Additionally, they are required to have knowledge of interacting with regulators and distribution firms.
