TESLA 50Hz To Build 40 MW of Rooftop Solar Projects for Element Romania

TESLA 50Hz (T50Hz), a part of the TESLA group in Romania, has entered into a cooperation agreement to work with Element Industrial, a leader in industrial property development, in order to design and construct solar panels on the roofs of all ELI buildings in Romania over the next 3 -5 year.

The project’s first phase will include 250,000 m2 industrial parks, with 40 MW total industrial-scale PV panels. It will use SolarEdge inverter technology. This is equivalent to 2 – 4MW each site.

Each PV installation will provide independent energy production on-site for ELI’s industrial park tenants. This is especially important given the current European energy crisis. ELI’s operations will also be significantly less carbon-intensive by switching to solar energy.

Andrei Jerca is the general manager at Element Industrial. He stated that this partnership was a reflection of our strategy to build a sustainable portfolio that will enable our tenants to cover at minimum 30% of their green energy consumption.

It is an important commitment by us to green and sustainable logistics that will create long-term value both for our investors and occupiers. Our strategy is based on the needs of our customers. This includes business predictability, lower occupancy cost, supporting their growth strategy, and creating true business communities in industrial parks. He adds that TESLA 50Hz and our partnership is a natural one because both companies have the same business principles.

T50Hz will manage the installation and design of each PV plant. T50Hz, TESLABlue Planet’s sister company will support the installations. The collaboration brings together engineering teams from both companies to optimize building construction and make it easy to install rooftop PV systems. This collaboration is crucial because it reduces construction time and costs of solar installations. It also ensures greater system safety and operational efficiency.
