Reliance Industries to Invest in 10 GW Solar Energy Project in Andhra Pradesh

Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, announced at the Global Investors Summit 2023 that the company will invest in a 10 gigawatt renewable solar energy project in Andhra Pradesh, reports PTI.

He also highlighted the investments made in the KG-D6 gas assets, which are fueling India’s clean energy transition.

Ambani assured that Reliance will continue to support the accelerated progress of Andhra Pradesh and its people.

“I would like to assure you that Reliance will continue to be an unflinching partner to the people and the Government of Andhra Pradesh in your stateโ€™s all-around accelerated progress.

This morning, I am happy to announce that we will continue our investments and we will invest in 10 gigawatts of renewable solar energy in the state of Andhra Pradesh,โ€ Ambani said.

Ambani praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the growth of India and Andhra Pradesh, respectively.
