16th Edition Marked a Milestone Gathering of 600+ Senior Leaders Steering India’s Solar Growth Forward | February 18–19 | Yashobhoomi Convention Center, New Delhi
Over two high-impact days in the national capital, more than 600 senior leaders across India’s solar and clean energy ecosystem gathered at India Solar Week 2026 to examine how the country’s next phase of renewable expansion will be executed with stronger grid integration, capital confidence and operational discipline. Organised with the support of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the 16th edition took place at a defining moment as India’s renewable capacity surpasses 200 GW and the 500 GW by 2030 ambition reshapes infrastructure planning nationwide.
As capacity scales, the conversation has clearly moved beyond targets. The focus is now on integration depth, financing clarity and execution strength across utility and distributed markets.
Two Days, Clear Momentum –
Day 1 – Laying the Groundwork for Scalable Confidence
Day 1 established the regulatory and engineering backbone required for India’s next phase of growth.

India Solar Week 2026 commenced with Opening Remarks by Mr. Ravi Verma, Member – Governing Council, Sustainable Projects Developers Association, followed by a keynote address from Mr. Nitin Agarwal, CEO, Rajasthan Solar Association, aligning policy intent with state-level execution realities.
Technology Driving Scale
Curated techno-commercial presentations from Deye, Sineng Electric, Leapting Technology, Saatvik Group and Quant Solar highlighted advanced inverter systems, high-efficiency modules and intelligent optimisation tools that are actively strengthening utility-scale perfor
Reinforcing Utility Foundations While Accelerating New Energy Pathways
The utility-scale panel examined transmission preparedness, hybrid integration and climate-resilient design as deployment accelerates. The Floatovoltaics discussion reflected growing deployment maturity and contracting innovation, while Roundtable on green hydrogen evaluated demand visibility and financing alignment required to move projects toward structured commercial scale.
Day 2 – Converting Growth Momentum into Investable Scale
If Day 1 focused on strengthening infrastructure fundamentals, Day 2 shifted decisively toward distributed expansion and capital structuring, reflecting how the market is maturing beyond installation toward portfolio optimisation.

The panel discussions and fireside chat collectively examined how distributed solar is evolving within India’s policy architecture, with open access expansion and demand-side momentum acting as structural drivers. Leaders explored how technology maturity and capital structuring are positioning distributed energy as an institutional asset class, while the execution-focused fireside conversation addressed EPC construction discipline, risk allocation and on-ground delivery capabilities required to sustain growth at scale.
From Intermittency to Firm Power – Unlocking the RE + Storage Opportunity

Roundtable 2 examined how hybrid solar-plus-storage solutions are transitioning into commercially viable firm power models, supported by revenue stacking and dispatch optimisation strategies.
India Solar Week Leadership Awards 2026
The platform culminated with the India Solar Week Leadership Awards 2026, celebrating organisations and professionals driving measurable impact across innovation, execution excellence and sustainability leadership within India’s clean energy ecosystem.

The ceremony was formally inaugurated by Dr. P. B. Rastogi, Former Advisor to the Government of India, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, and Guest of Honour at the Awards Ceremony, who addressed the gathering and underscored the importance of sustained institutional collaboration in advancing India’s renewable transition.
Strong Industry Backing
India Solar Week 2026 was strengthened by the active engagement of its Knowledge Partners, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) and Sustainable Projects Developers Association (SPDA), whose involvement added strategic depth and industry relevance to the platform. Their continued collaboration strengthened the quality of dialogue across storage, project development and large-scale deployment themes, ensuring that discussions reflected current market realities and forward-looking priorities.
The event was further supported by key ecosystem organisations including the Council for Energy Transition and Climate Action and Rajasthan Solar Association, whose participation reinforced a collaborative industry approach and broadened the institutional representation across policy, finance and implementation stakeholders.
