Amp Energy India to Develop 720MW of Renewable Energy Projects in Andhra Pradesh

Amp Energy India has signed an MOU with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop 720MW of renewable energy projects

In a major development towards promoting sustainable growth and reducing carbon emissions, Amp Energy India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop 720 MW of renewable energy projects at the Global Investors Summit 2023.

Under the agreement, Amp Energy India will set up renewable energy projects like solar, wind, hybrid, floating solar and energy storage projects in the state, with a total capacity of 720 MW. The projects would cost an investment of approx Rs 5800 Crores over the next 3-5 years.

This is a significant step towards achieving the state’s target of generating renewable energy capacity.
