LONGi Donates Hi-MO 6 PV Products to Al Zaharaa Hospital in Beirut

LONGi announced that it will donate 20 kW of its latest PV product Hi-MO 6 to support AL Zaharaa Hospital in Beirut, coordinating with LONGi Lebanese local distribution partner AGS.

The Solar Module used is the newest Hi-MO 6 module, making it the first solar rooftop with LONGi Hi-MO6 in the Middle East region. The project is expected to be finished in April.

Al Zaharaa hospital is one of the biggest hospitals in Lebanon, founded in 1976, combining hospital, medical education and medical research. The 20Kw solar project, once finished, will provide power to the hospital which suffers now from power outages and unreliable power sources due to the bad conditions Lebanon is going through.

As leading Solar brand , LONGi hopes that this project will help the hospital to work through these circumstances and be able to serve patients without interruption.

Mr. Baggio Teng, Head of LONGi Middle East Branch said on the ceremony “ We are excited to bring renewable energy to Al-Zahraa hospital, contributing to the sustainability in Lebanon.”

Prof. Youssef fares, CEO of Alzaharaa Hospital, said “This sustainable and substitute source of energy will be of good use to the hospital, especially with the unstable electricity situation in Lebanon, which is going to be as a benchmark locally.”
