Ellume Solar, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has won a 100MW solar project in Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana. The project was secured through a competitive bidding process by MAHAGENCO, the state power generation company. The initiative aims to solarize agricultural feeders to provide uninterrupted power supply to farmers for farming purposes. The 25-year project is expected to generate 4,226 million units of power, which will contribute significantly towards meeting Maharashtra’s renewable energy targets.
