SOFAR presented its tried-and-tested solar storage solutions to address local power fluctuation against the backdrop of Africa’s critical demand for steady energy output.
SOFAR HYD 520KTL-3PH is designed to maximise energy production and increase system dependability. It has two MPPTs and various parallel systems, as well as a GTX3000 with a system energy capacity of up to 180 kWh, allowing for more flexible setups. Notably, users have access to higher control accuracy and hassle-free O&M through fully digital operation via Bluetooth app, allowing them to automatically commission and manage plant yields in a timely manner.
Meanwhile, the HYD 30006000-EP plus GTX5000PRO is on display to round out the portfolio, capable of keeping critical devices operational even during a power outage thanks to the UPS-level emergency power supply function and less than 10 ms of switchover time.
In addition to ESS, the SOFAR 110125KTLX-G4 designed for C&I and small-scale utility solar is a big hit. In addition to assuring lower LCOE and greater yields, the inverter provides IP66 overall protection and C5 anti-corrosion, making it resistant to hard working conditions in Africa.
SOFAR inked a 200MW MoU with Condere Group, a 100MW MoU with AutoX/Rentech, and a 50MW MoU with Joule Energy during the event, increasing strategic cooperation among local distributors. The agreement is anticipated to foster tighter cooperation between the two parties and help to the common goal of a clean transition. SOFAR wants to complement each other’s core talents and technological capabilities via collaborative efforts, successfully reducing the region’s power shortfall.
