TNB’s GSPARX Collaborates With Lada For Solar Panel Installation In Langkawi

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), via its subsidiary focused on sustainable energy solutions, GSPARX Sdn Bhd, has entered into a collaboration with the Langkawi Development Authority (Lada).

This partnership aims to mitigate carbon emissions by means of the installation of solar photovoltaic panels at the Dermaga Tanjung Lembung Complex located in Langkawi.

GSPARX is expected to install a 363kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the Dermaga Tanjung Lembung Complex, and depending on the agreement, the electricity bill savings achieved by LPSB after the installation would be between RM87,000 to RM244,000 in the first year, and between RM5mil and RM7.4mil over 25 years.
