Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd Tenders for 800 MW Solar Projects with Greenshoe Option

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) has issued a Request for Selection (RfS) for the purchase of power through a competitive bidding process followed by a reverse e-auction. The RfS aims to attract developers for the establishment of 800 MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic power projects in GSECL’s Solar Park at Khavda, known as GSECL Stage 2. Additionally, a greenshoe option for an additional capacity of up to 800 MW is included.

The bidding process will involve both online and offline submission options. The bid deadline for online submissions is set for June 15, 2023, at 5:00 PM, while offline submissions can be made until June 17, 2023, at 5:00 PM. The technical bid opening will take place on June 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM.

The financial bid opening and reverse e-auction process are scheduled for June 23, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Eligible bidders will receive intimation of the reverse e-auction on the e-bidding portal.

Interested bidders must purchase the RfS document, priced at Rs. 25,000/- plus 18% GST, through electronic mode (NEFT/RTGS). A non-refundable tender processing fee of Rs. 3 lakhs plus 18% GST is also mandatory through electronic payment.

To participate, bidders must submit earnest money of Rs. 4 lakh per MW in the form of a bank guarantee along with their response to the RfS.
