Advancements in Rooftop Solar System: Successful Physical Meet by SOFAR and LONGi Explores Project Models & Technology

A Physical Meet on “Advancements in Project Models & Technology of Rooftop Solar System” was successfully held on June 8, 2023 at Lancaster Plaza, Beirut. The event, powered by LONGi, SOFAR and Noon brought together Lebanese industry experts, installers, sales engineers, and personnel from EPC companies to discuss the latest trends and innovations in the field of solar energy. It was a successful event with an attendance if 80 participants and 100% occupancy.

This was the first physical launch of “LONGi Solar Academy” in Beirut, it is an all-encompassing training program aimed at equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the solar energy industry. The Solar Academy, guided by the motto “Everyone is Potential to be a Solar Expert!”, is dedicated to providing accessible and tailored training to support companies in the Middle East region. Participants gained valuable insights and skills into solar technologies and LONGi’s cutting-edge solutions, enhancing their expertise in the field.

Throughout the event, distinguished speakers shared their expertise, delving into installation best practices, performance optimization, and the seamless integration of solar energy system components. And installer ‘s representative shared the successful installation experience of Hi-MO6 products, which is the first Hi-MO6 rooftop project in Lebanon, with 40kW capacity, fully completed by Noon for Renewable Energy. The engaging discussions fostered networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with like-minded professionals who share a passion for renewable energy.

The training sessions conducted by LONGi Solar Academy covered a wide range of topics, including solar knowledge, customized training, site audits, joint certifications in collaboration with local authorities and e-learning opportunities. Attendees had the chance to explore the features, benefits, and applications of the HIMO6 Panels, discovering how these advancements can elevate their solar energy projects to new heights.

The Physical Meet witnessed a strong attendance of industry professionals, including sales engineers, experts from EPC companies, and representatives from various organizations involved in the solar energy sector. The event provided a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and inspiration, driving the industry forward.
