Currently, Landmark Group possesses a solar capacity of 8.3MWp, with 67% of it facilitated by SirajPower. Additionally, the Group has awarded an extra 2.1 MWp of solar rooftop and carport systems across four prominent sites in the UAE. This expanded solar capacity will be distributed among various locations, including Oasis Mall in Dubai and Sharjah, as well as two other sites in Al Quoz and JAFZA. As a result, the number of locations will double, and the solar capacity will increase by 25%. By installing solar panels at these newly added sites, Landmark Group anticipates offsetting approximately 2,485 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.

These projects are scheduled to be commissioned by the end of the current year and will establish Landmark Group as one of the largest solar-powered retailers in the region. A total of 17.4 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of environmentally friendly energy will be generated annually from eight locations in the UAE. This significant milestone reinforces the Group’s unwavering commitment to sustainable practices and its endeavour to create a more environmentally friendly future for the UAE.
