Assam Gas Company Tenders for Feasibility Study for Agri-Voltaic Solar Power Project

Assam Gas Company Limited, located in Duliajan, has released a bid invitation for the development of a Solar Power project. The bidding process consists of two parts: the Technocommercial bid (Part-I) and the Price bid (Part-II). Bidders with prior experience in preparing and completing Detailed Feasibility/ Detailed Project Reports for Solar Power plant projects in India are eligible to participate.

The validity of the bids is set at 120 days from the scheduled date of Techno-Commercial bid opening. The scope of work includes conducting a Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) study for an Agri-Voltaic Solar Power Project in Sadiya, Tinsukia district of Assam. Additionally, the consultant will be required to assess the condition of the project site’s land and recommend suitable agricultural crops or vegetation that can be cultivated alongside the solar power plant, such as napier grass, vegetables, or other crops.

The primary objective of the project is to conduct a PFR study for the installation of the Agri-Voltaic Solar Power Project and subsequently prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) based on the project’s viability. The consultant will also need to conduct a detailed study on the agricultural aspects of the project and provide recommendations on the most feasible agricultural options. This includes financial analysis within the DPR.

Interested bidders are required to pay a tender processing fee of Rs 2,000.00 and submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 40,000.00. The deadline for bid submission is 17th July 2023, up to 14:00 hours IST. The Technical Bid Opening will take place at 14:30 hours IST on the same day.
