Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) has issued a tender for the development, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of three solar photovoltaic power projects in Maun, Lobatse, and Ghanzi.
The projects are part of BPC’s commitment to renewable energy and sustainability, and the tender is open exclusively to 100% citizen-owned companies of the Republic of Botswana.
Interested companies can obtain tender documents from the office of the Supply Chain Manager at BPC’s headquarters in Gaborone. A non-refundable tender documentation fee is required upon collection of the documents, with different amounts specified for regular citizen-owned companies and those wholly owned by Youth.
The closing date for the tender is September 15, 2023, giving eligible companies ample time to prepare and submit their proposals for these important solar projects in Maun, Lobatse, and Ghanzi.
