The construction progress of Oman’s 400kV overhead lines connecting Barik and Suwayhat grid stations has reached an impressive 99%, as confirmed by the Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC).
With this accomplishment, OETC is now focused on wrapping up the remaining tasks and plans to energize the Suwayhat grid station by the end of the current month.
This development is poised to have a positive impact on Oman’s power transmission system, addressing the increasing demand for electricity.
Undertaken by OETC, the construction of the 400kV overhead lines is a critical initiative aimed at bolstering the power transmission infrastructure and enhancing grid reliability within Oman.
The project’s primary objective is to facilitate smooth electricity transfer across extensive distances, ensuring a dependable and efficient power supply to cater to the requirements of both consumers and businesses.
The successful completion of this endeavor will mark a significant achievement in Oman’s drive to modernize its electrical infrastructure.
