In a move set to reshape the solar landscape in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region, Menlo Electric, the burgeoning solar component distributor, has officially partnered with Tongwei Solar, a Fortune Global 500 PV brand and one of the top five Tier 1 module manufacturers worldwide. This partnership is aimed at harnessing Tongwei Solar’s cutting-edge capabilities and leveraging Menlo Electric’s expanding footprint in the region, to provide solar solutions in the EMEA solar market.
Tongwei Solar, known for its remarkable accomplishments over the last 41 years, has achieved consistent growth and currently boasts the highest global market share in high-purity polysilicon production and sales. With remarkable production capacities, including 350 KT in polysilicon, 100 GW in cells, and 80 GW in modules, Tongwei Solar has also earned its place as the global leader in solar cell shipments for six consecutive years.
Menlo Electric, on the other hand, has recently extended its reach into the Middle East and North Africa at the beginning of 2023, establishing a solid foundation for global expansion. The collaboration with Tongwei Solar underscores Menlo Electric’s commitment to bridging the gap between top global manufacturers and the EMEA market.
