The nine-month contract, awarded by Samsung C&T, emphasizes QEMC’s commitment to delivering top-notch engineering solutions, especially in large-scale solar initiatives.

This achievement reflects the company’s dedication to exceeding client expectations, building on its success with the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for QatarEnergy’s industrial cities solar power project (IC Solar) in 2022, which involves constructing two significant photovoltaic solar power plants in Mesaieed Industrial City and Ras Laffan Industrial City, generating a total of 875 MW.

The IC Solar project is anticipated to commence electricity production by the end of 2024.
