Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors/firms for the selection of an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor. The scope of work involves the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning on a turnkey basis for a 25 MWac Ground Mounted Solar PV Power Project located in Namrup, Assam. Additionally, the selected contractor will be responsible for comprehensive operation and maintenance for a duration of five years.

Interested parties are required to submit a bid security or Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 2,00,00,000/- either online or in the form of a bank guarantee. The deadline for the submission of tender documents is set for 04/03/2024 (12:00 hours), with online bid opening scheduled on 05/03/2024 (12:00 hours) through the e-procurement portal. Further details regarding the price bid opening and the reverse auction process will be communicated to technically qualified bidders at a later stage.

The commissioned project is expected to be completed within twelve months from the date of contract signing, ensuring the delivery of the entire 25 MW capacity. This initiative aligns with the commitment to harness solar energy for sustainable power generation in Assam.
