THDC India has announced a call for bids from consultants to draft a comprehensive Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development of the Phase-I ultra mega solar power park, boasting a capacity of 1,292 MW within the larger 2 GW solar park in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
The projected cost for this endeavour stands at โน1.017 crores, with a stipulated DPR submission deadline of 90 days from the issuance of the work order.
Interested parties are required to submit their bids by February 20, 2024, with bid opening slated for the following day.
To participate, bidders must provide an earnest money deposit of โน102,000. Upon selection, successful bidders are obliged to furnish a performance bank guarantee equivalent to 5% of the contract value within 15 days post receipt of the letter of award. The project site is earmarked at Bodana Village, Nachana-I Tehsil, in Jaisalmer, spanning approximately 10,000 acres.
The DPR scope encompasses a range of assessments including site engineering evaluations, soil testing reports, solar radiation resource appraisals, topographical surveys, hydrological data analysis, load flow assessments for the proposed substation, environmental and social impact assessments, among others.
In addition to these requirements, the chosen bidder must also furnish the estimated solar power cost within the park and outline the project execution timeline. Furthermore, details regarding transmission capacity availability up to the termination point, both intra-state and inter-state, are also mandated.
Failure to adhere to project timelines may incur liquidated damages equivalent to 0.5% of the total contract value per week of delay, capped at a maximum of 10% of the contract value.
