The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) is seeking bids for the installation of a 10 MW solar power project along the Teesta Canal bank in Uttar Dinajpur district, West Bengal.
The deadline for bid submissions is March 7, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for March 11. It’s important to note that bids from consortia or joint ventures will not be accepted.
The tender encompasses the procurement, fabrication, galvanization, installation, and fixing of various components including steel structures, solar modules, array junction boxes, surge protection devices, and lightning arrestors.
WBSEDCL has calculated that the equipment installation and purchase will cost around โน12.9 lakhs, without including GST. A โน25,840 earnest money deposit is required of bidders.
The project site is located along the Teesta Canal bank, situated between the Mahananda Main Canal and the tailrace channel of the Teesta Canal Fall Hydroelectric Project at Haptiagachh.
Bidders must demonstrate prior experience by having completed at least one 33/11 KV or above substation or solar project equipment valued at โน10 lakhs or more.
Additionally, they should have a minimum average annual turnover equivalent to 30% of the estimated tender cost, or โน387,000, over the past three consecutive financial years, with positive net worth for each of the last three financial years.
Upon selection, the chosen bidder will be responsible for completing the supply, delivery, and installation of the equipment within six months from the contract award date. Following a successful demonstration period lasting 30 consecutive days, WBSEDCL will assume control of the project.
