Avaada Group Welcomes High-Level Delegation Led by Thai Deputy PM H.E. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara at Bikaner’s World’s Largest Solar Plant

Avaada Group, a prominent player in green energy solutions, welcomed a delegation led by H.E. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, to the world’s largest single-location solar power plant owned by any renewable energy Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Accompanying H.E. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara on the four-day official visit to India were Thailand’s Ambassador to India, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, and Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, Chairman of the Board at the Global Power Synergy Plc. (GPSC), alongside other dignitaries and key figures from Thailand’s energy sector.

The delegation received a warm welcome from Mr. Vineet Mittal, Chairperson of Avaada Group, and Mr. Kishor Nair, CEO of Avaada Energy, among others. The visit facilitated detailed discussions on sustainable energy practices, technological advancements, and potential collaborations between India and Thailand in the pursuit of a greener planet and sustainable future.

Expressing his impressions after visiting Avaada’s facility and India, H.E. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara described the experience as “impressive.” Regarding the investment made by PTT Group’s GPSC in Avaada Energy in India, the Deputy PM affirmed that they have made the right decision.

Mr. Vineet Mittal, Chairperson of Avaada Group, emphasized the shared vision between Avaada Group and the visiting delegation, highlighting renewable energy’s pivotal role in global environmental sustainability and economic prosperity. He underscored the company’s commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

The Bikaner Solar Plant, spanning 4,100 acres, is a significant landmark in India’s renewable energy landscape. With approximately 3 million solar modules, the plant has contributed significantly to reducing carbon emissions and conserving water resources through innovative technologies such as robotic cleaning systems.

The delegation’s visit underscores the importance of international collaboration in the energy sector and sets a precedent for future partnerships. Avaada Group continues to lead the clean energy transition, driving innovation and sustainability across India and beyond.
