Ministry of Railway Releases Tender to Provide, install, test, and commission a 1 MWp grid-connected solar power plant, including wall-mounted inverters, SPV arrays, module mounting structures, power conditioning units, MPPT systems, controls, protections, interconnecting cables, switch gears, and necessary features to support grid power supplementation.

The last day to submit the bids is March 18, 2024.

The tender requires an earnest money deposit of Rs. 3.64 lakhs and the work should be completed within 6 months of receiving the work order.

The tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 (seven) years, up to the end of the month preceding the invitation of the tender:
(i) Three similar works, each with a cost not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, or
(ii) Two similar works, each with a cost not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or
(iii) One similar work with a cost not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender.

The Bidder is required to possess a valid electrical contractor license issued by the government, which must be submitted along with the tender document. Failure to include a valid electrical contractor license will result in the rejection of the offer. However, OEMs or their authorized dealers are exempt from this requirement.
