GreenYellow and Enhol Group Unite, Investing €200 Million in Energy Projects in Spain

GreenYellow, renowned for decentralized solar production and energy efficiency initiatives, teams up with Enhol Group, a pioneer in renewable energy projects, to establish a significant presence in Spain’s decarbonization landscape. Backed by private investment fund Ardian, this collaboration signals a substantial investment commitment of 200 million euros over the next five years, targeting the development of 300 MWp capacity and around 100 GWh of energy savings.

Operating under the GreenYellow brand, the alliance pledges to offer comprehensive decarbonization solutions to industrial and tertiary clients in Spain. Leveraging GreenYellow’s expertise in decentralized energy transitions and Enhol Group’s renewable energy solutions, the partnership aims to deliver tailored offerings, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for industrial self-consumption and energy efficiency projects under the “As a Service” model.

Marcelino Oreja, President of the Alliance and GreenYellow Iberia, emphasizes the strategic importance of this agreement in expanding their presence in Spain’s dynamic energy sector. Nicolas Daunis, Managing Director of GreenYellow Iberia, highlights the synergy between international expertise and local knowledge, enabling them to offer unparalleled carbon-free energy and efficiency solutions.

Ismael García, Director of Business Development at Enhol Group, anticipates significant growth opportunities through this alliance, particularly in the self-consumption market. The partnership aims to introduce innovative solutions such as acquiring operational facilities to structure new PPAs with storage, enhancing energy independence and competitiveness for clients.
