Expressing gratitude to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for organizing the groundbreaking workshop, Al-Kharabsheh expressed hope that the discussions would yield recommendations for implementing the most suitable model for local green hydrogen investment projects.
Gretchen Berry, the Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Region at EBRD, emphasized Jordan’s potential in signing multiple memorandums of understanding for hydrogen projects. Berry highlighted Jordan’s strategic location, renewable energy abundance, and mineral resources as key advantages for becoming a regional hub for green hydrogen production.
